About the Expert : Sangya Yadav
Sangya Yadav is the first Indian woman to be officially authorized by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) as an SCA Authorised Trainer (AST). She has built a distinguished career as a coffee consultant, sensory analyst, and trainer. Her expertise spans a diverse range of areas, from collaborating with roasters to perfect their roast profiles, to crafting innovative recipes for cafés, and training individuals to elevate their brewing techniques. Passionate about making high-quality coffee accessible to all, Sangya is dedicated to bridging the gap between coffee professionals and enthusiasts, ensuring that coffee is not just a beverage, but an experience
Session Flow:
- Discussion on Post Harvest Processing and its effect on the quality of coffee
- Cupping of Standard coffees Arabica & Robusta
- Espresso and Pour-over tasting of Light, Medium and Dark Roasted coffees or 2 Different Blends
- How to evaluate defects in coffee
- Beverage menu buildup & classification
- A Fun Skill Exercise, where the participants will work in groups, to examine how much they have learnt from the day’s program
Session Includes:
- Certification to be provided at the end of the session.
