The journey began with Hansraj and Hansa Mariwala, who envisioned a brand that celebrated great coffee shared with friends, without compromising on sustainability. Staying true to this philosophy, Nandan’s first blends — Royale, Gold, and L’lmore — were developed in collaboration with renowned coffee expert Sunalini Menon, widely known as Asia’s first lady of coffee.
In 2012, the legacy expanded under Shyam and Farida Mariwala, who grew the Nandan Collection and introduced its sister brand, Yaraman Coffee Private Limited, further strengthening the brand’s presence in Indian coffee.
Today, Nandan is led by Yahvi and Parthivi Mariwala, the third generation, who continue the family’s commitment to bringing high-quality Indian coffee to the global stage. While generations have evolved, the core belief remains unchanged — creating thoughtfully sourced coffee meant to be enjoyed together, with care for both people and the planet.
