If you are a coffee nerd or looking to start a business in coffee...

I attended a 2-day Intensive Crop to Cup workshop by Something's Brewing held at Kaapi Machines in Bangalore. Booking the course was easy as most of my questions related to the workshop were answers by customer reps promptly prior to booking. The workshop included a great deal of coffee knowledge which was delivered in an interactive session. The training is in small batches and the trainers urged us to share our coffee stories further customising sections based on everyone's input. We also conducted in-depth manual brewing sessions using South Indian Filter, Chemex, Siphon, V60, French press, Aeropress, etc. Exposure to use different grinders and various kinds of grind sizes were explained thoroughly as well. You'll also have the opportunity to see and use lots of coffee accessories like precision scales, temp-controlled gooseneck kettles, paper/cloth filters, and other coffee tech. Another highlight for this workshop was training using a semi-automatic two group head espresso machine to brew milk-based drinks which excited a home brewer like me! The trainers took time to explain basics like how to froth milk, what are the ratios to brewing espresso, theories behind the same as well as cleaning of the machines. There was enough time designated for breaks and discussions over coffee where everyone's specific queries were answered.

If you are a coffee nerd or looking to start a business in coffee - this is a way to engage in coffee!
