Riverdale Estate Watermelon Process - Something's Brewing

Riverdale Estate – Geisha is a rare and exceptional coffee that represents a milestone in Indian specialty coffee. Originally tracing a 10,000 km journey from Panama to India, this prized Geisha varietal is cultivated by the Balaraman brothers, Mohan and Prakashan, in the Shevaroy Hills of Yercaud, Tamil Nadu. Grown at 1,450 MASL and roasted light for filter brewing, this 100% Arabica coffee showcases the elegance and complexity Geisha is celebrated for.

Processed using carbonic maceration for 72 hours, with cherries handpicked at an impressive 30+ brix, this coffee delivers an extraordinarily refined cup. Expect a jasmine tea–like aroma layered with honeysuckle, macerated plums, and muskmelon, creating a delicate yet expressive sensory experience. First roasted on 5th July 2024, Riverdale Geisha is a champion’s choice—famously used by founder and CEO Mithilesh Vazalwar at the World Barista Championship 2022. Best enjoyed as it cools, this coffee opens up beautifully over time, revealing its true depth and marking a true revolution in Indian coffee.
