Clever Coffee Dripper

The Standard Clever Coffee Dripper is the legendary "foolproof" brewer that changed the manual coffee landscape.

By integrating a patented "shut-off" valve, it allows the user to control the exact duration of the steep—much like a French Press—but finishes the process by draining through a paper filter to remove oils and grit. This results in a cup with the heavy body of immersion brewing and the sparkling clarity of a pour-over. This model fits most mugs and carafes with a top diameter between 6.4cm and 9.5cm, making it a versatile tool for any kitchen or office setup.

Brewing Manual

Place a Chemex filter paper in the Chemex brewer

Rinse the filter with hot water and discard the water

Add the ground coffee (15g for one cup) onto the filter paper

Add hot water (30 ml, 92°C) over the ground coffee and start the timer

Leave for 30 seconds

Add the rest of the water (180 ml) onto the coffee bed in slow, concentric circles

The brewed coffee will start dripping into the carafe

After 3 minutes, take the brewer along with the filter off your carafe

Your coffee will be ready
