Fellow Carter Move Mug Stainless Steel

I bought this travel mug for its ceramic coating that preserves the taste of the brew. It is very expensive for just that function but no other company does this so I had no choice.
What surprised me and prevented buyer’s remorse was the geometry of the mug. It has been designed in a way that this could compete with the sensory cups for coffee. Even after the splash guard, there is a lot of room for coffee but it is supposed to be left empty, why is that?, think of a wine glass, it is really big and deep yet it is never filled to the brim because of the volatiles that enhance the drinking experience, yes it means if your cup lets you inhale the brew’s volatiles your coffee experience will dramatically improve. Coming to the lip of the mug, it is very thin stainless steel and does in fact make the mug competitive with the sensory cups. Yes, the cups’ design can change your coffee dramatically.
I hate my double-walled glass cups now because of this. My pour-over experience has changed forever and I might need to buy those expensive kruve glasses now for the volatiles.
