The Loma La Gloria Farm was started in the late 1990s by Mr. Roberto, the father of the current owner, Ms. Annie Luz. It was named Loma La Gloria (Hill of the Glory) after his grandfather's old farm. After opening, Roberto, originally a civil engineer, began construction of a mill to produce and process his own coffee in 2001.
The Loma La Gloria farm, located near the San Salvador volcano, has sandy soil, so it has several moats to collect rainwater and improve water retention. Even in natural, it is a special lot that has been infused with the know-how they have accumulated, such as the quality and transparency of aroma and flavor, and the degree of fermentation.
